  1. how about this system https://www.niftycity.shop/products/lexus-ct-2013-2020-apple-carplay-android-auto-oem-integration?variant=37338385350806
  2. I have noticed my car was a bit lumpy at idle and my MPG had dropped, On further investigation it seems to be the new E10 fuel, Since then I switched back to E5 and the car is running so much better and my MPG has jumped back up. Try switching fuel it may help
  3. Welcome to the world of lazy and relaxing driving.
  4. These guys do some head units https://www.dvdgpsnav.com/blog/?s=lexus Might be worth a look Bobby
  5. Loving this thread and glad I started it, thank you all for your input
  6. even if that is the case you could always swap them out for the MOT, I used them in a previous car and they lasted the lifetime of my ownership and seem to perform better than halogen
  7. I was wondering if anyone had fitted these at all and if so does it work ok with the onboard computer. I've used them in other cars but not in my Lexus. Thank you
  8. 2014 face lift is a must the ride feels a lot better in my opinion, I have a advance and if I'm honest I don't have any regrets in the spec at all. If I could have anything in the car it would be apple car play.
  9. Thank you bud, It really is the worst feeling pressing the on button and hearing that noise of no exhaust. Glad you got it sorted
  10. I had a similar problem a few years back and I used this company, https://www.lockingwheelnutkeys.co.uk/ , They were really good, Might be worth giving the nut a wd40 bath in the meantime. Thank you Darko
  11. Has anyone tried to fit one of these at all? https://www.niftycity.shop/products/lexus-ct-2013-2020-apple-carplay-android-auto-oem-integration?variant=37338385350806 Thank you
  12. I am aware of the sports knob but I can honestly say that the use of the word sport is stretching it a bit lol
  13. I went from a Abarth 500 (modified) and the only thing I miss is the get up and go, If your used to putting your foot down to get out of sticky situations forget it as the CT just makes a lot of noise and moves slowly when you hard accelerate. I love the drive of the car and the comfort is great, you can do endless miles with ease but the lack of power takes a bit of getting used to if you have come from a powerful car. Ive had my advance for about 4 months now and I really love it, its a great commuting car and fits my families needs Cheers Darko
  14. Just a note on speakers, JBL, ML, Infinity are all part of the Harman International Industries (Harman Kardon) The sound quality is pretty much the same just the amount of speakers in the vehicle, Probably find that the head unit is just the same with a bit of different branding.
  15. So we don't have long now until we see this at our pumps, what do you guys think here is some info for those that don't know https://www.gov.uk/guidance/e10-petrol-explained Cheers Bobby
  16. That's fantastic and a good thing you had the warranty but even if you didn't have it that's not too bad for a car that's closing on 200k, I too bought for the reliability, I was looking at the Prius but liked the quirky looks of the Lexus and the added bonus that I never see them around and I hate being one of the crowd. I didn't really think of warranty but I may consider now, who do you have your warranty with? Bobby
  17. Thats pretty awesome, what mileage did you buy at and what issues has the car had during ownership? Cheers Bobby
  18. Been reading this today, looks good an wrote to them for a price all in. There are several solutions out there and walk throughs on youtube on how to fit them. Cheers
  19. I see so many high milers on auto trader surely someone here has one with over 200k on it ?
  20. I had the Abarth 500, it was remapped with cold air induction and monza powervalve exhaust, as you can imagine the power difference going from that to the CT has been pretty hard going but I am happy with the trade out. Thank you Bobby
  21. So I joined a few months back but I thought I should introduce myself, My name is bobby and I have purchased my first lexus, As sad as it sounds I have wanted a Lexus for a long time but got sucked in by Abarth and have been driving one of them for years. I have bought a CT advance facelift model 2014 in pearlescent white with a very frugal 46k on the clock. I love the car for its sheer relaxing drive and total comfort, If you live in the Surrey/ Kent area you may see me about My number plate is DARKO so give us a wave if you do. The only modification I want is Apple car play but the quotes have been super high. Nice to meet you all Darko
  22. So I have had my CT for about 2 months and I was lucky to get a low mileage 2014 for a really good price, I am always amazed when I get a uber and the mileage is over 200k so I am interested what sort of high mileage cars we have here in the CT world. What you got guys? Thank you
  23. I bought mine 3 weeks ago and I managed to tune the DAB but have no idea what I did, the tuning was super complicated. I managed to save my favorites and I wont be touching it again. Darko
