  1. Kazi, PM me your email address and i'll send you my instructions as well. If they are the same as Gord's, then thats all there is! If your mate is good mechanically, you'll have no problems! I would invite you here to fit it, but alas, the facilities are poor where i'm living at the moment. :(
  2. lol, i think i meant japanese. I want my HKS booklet translating :D
  3. cambelt needs doing at 6 years/100k. whats yours at now?

  5. bit of a ricky collection going on here! now, can any of you read chinese?
  6. I take it you've seen the instructions? It really isn't difficult you know. Blot cradle to engine block. Drill holes and fit supercharger. Fit supercharger Fit pipework Solder ECU. Really is that simple! :D When are you picking it up? And outta interest, what have you been quoted to fit it?
  7. If you lived in London i'd pop over, but leicestershire is a bit of a trek....
  8. in case anyones intrested... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-Camp-Engine-Car-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. reminds me, i need to get new plugs, i'm still running on standard ones. As for fuel, use whatever you want. it doesnt matter. I'm trying out different fuels at the moment. So far have tested a tank full of esso super, bp ultimate, now i've just filled up with tesco 99. BP ultimate feels the best so far, it's smoother.
  10. Well, I have the next bit (temporarily) sorted now. Won an auction on ebay last night for a 6.5" Pioneer screen, brand-new, £81 :D Picked it up this morning as the company selling it is just around the corner from where i'm working, so bit of a result there. The plan now is to install the HKS Camp, and then plug it into this screen i've got. All going well and it works, i'll then remove my satnav screen and replace it with this one. I've got a mate whose an electronics wizard and he's going to look at my satnav unit with some kind of scope, apparently picks up the outputs and stuff, and he reckons we can knock up an adaptor. I will keep you updated :)
  11. Where abouts in Cornwall did you visit? Thats my stomping ground :D
  12. Cheers bazza. And these are on the plugs in the ecu box in the engine bay yeah?
  13. They are a doddle to fit, it's like a meccano kit.
  14. nah, just literally where I can locate these wires so i can splice into them. engine, fusebox, wherever. I just need to know where and the colours.... This thing is getting trickier every time i look at it! they are all located at the ecu position do you want a diagram ? yes please mate :) if you need to email it: nickthegreek at rhapsodyoftheseas dot co dot uk

  16. no chance. not unless I had a spare screen, i'd gash most of it up, including the IR sensor. Ideally I need a dvd front..... but getting one of them on their own is like finding rocking horse **** i guess.
  17. intresting, will pop out to the car in a minute to check. that would be nice :D i'm sure i could get handy with a dremel mind ;)
  18. Seeing as I dont have a workshop manual for my IS200, I need to determine the following so I can wire up the HKS Camp. I require: 12v ignition 12v constant Ground RPM Signal Speed Sensor Injection Pulse I need to splice into each one of those. Also, yesterday at boxhill Scarface showed me a way through the bulkhead, behind the battery. Are there any other locations as i've got a fair few wires and harnesses to feed through
  19. Another question. Are in-car screens measured the same as computer monitors? IE, a 7" screen on ebay, is the diagonal measurement? If thats the case, that would make the cd-based screens 6"..... Want to check before I bid :D
  20. If I decided to replace my cd-based satnav screen with a different unit, what size would I need? Is it readily available off the shelf?
  21. Yeah, so we noticed. As we were inside having our coffees in the morning, you went off checking tax discs
