  1. Many saloons have folding seats. So much space wasted when you want to take that ton of rubble to the tip!
  2. I wonder if there is any chance of folding rear seats this time round?
  3. /me points to bloke with fancy tie.... Stop the yackin' get them covers orf! IS. IS. IS....
  4. OMG! Im watching the webcam, and I can't control myself.... this IS amazing to see....
  5. Cannock, Staffordshire. We have a huge collection, paradise for you really. Need I say more? Feel free to drop by anytime for a cuppa. Website details are: www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk. Midlands branch.
  6. Still slightly off topic .... I actually own an Airsoft shop and the buggers still managed to remove the centre badge from my boot even having one of these.... (not on me at the time tho to be honest....) BTW, our MP5 range starts from £139.99. And I'll give Lexus forum members 5% with 5000 BB's too! Power to the people!
  7. Sorry Don, busy life ..... The place your after is called MAX AUDIO. Just down the road for me, bit further for you tho. Website details: MAX AUDIO Ask for Dean, tell him your an avid Lexus owner requiring the amp lead and say "word spreads fast regarding good quality items!" Sav.
  8. Sorry lads, been away - Rhyl of all places... Answers to questions: 1. Cost? £800 - got a good deal from the folks at CEL-DIRECT.COM. Looks they they dropped a boobie as the price is now £899. 2. The front fascia comes off the reveal a warning alarm system. The unit will not function without the fascia. Looks like a normal Kenwood when the screen is retracted. 3. Single DIN fascia. Purchased this off Ebay for £29.99. When I recieved it, I found out that it was an Autoleads part. Halfords do these I believe. 4. SE Amp Lead. Aaaa, down to the crunch! I was told from a previous post that the amp from an SE was bypassed and could not be used. I asked my local professional audio people to get me a lead for me to use the amp and with this they did. I do not know the part number or any details. I shall give them a call and let you all know. The sound is awesome and the practical side of the screen works really well. I have no worries with leaving the unit on display as the removable fascia will deter folk anyway. Sav.
  9. B00yah! Where and when?! I'll get the notes from outta me old sweaty sock if need be!! Give more details please. Would look spankin' lovely on the car! B) Can you get them without the logos or are they as standard? Sav.
  10. Hi chaps! After much days fumbling and hard effort I managed to fit me new stereo in with me Autoleads fascia! Just wondered what you guys thought and I got a few piccies and a video to show.... Video: Warning 56k'ers 5mb. Kenwood System With me having the SE model, I managed to get a wiring harness to keep the original amp, seeing that the amp does a good job sounding beefy anyways. All is now working with my KEG in the boot which also houses over 10 gigs worth of MP3's (2500 songs). It should keep me going for a few miles now. Sav. :D
  11. Righto, Car has been in today to a professional car o fitting compay and have spiffingly fitted my new Kenwood in car entertainment system. Problem I got is the dashboard illumination doesn't seem to work anymore! Now, before I take it back tomorrow, where is the fuse situated for the dash illuminum? or does the original stereo have something to do with it with the actual unit being lit with the dash? Answers on a £5 note please! :zee: Phil.
  12. Cheers guys. I have tried 4 brands so far and at different speeds. So far the only one I have managed to get working *ocassionally* is the cheapest of cheap silver top one, I shall get some high spec TDK or Verbs to test and see if they make good. Results shall be posted.
  13. Yup, I'm an avid cd / dvd burner *cough* so I know exactly how to burn discs. The problem I keep getting is an ERR1 message. Tried it again tonight and I managed to get 1 cd to play but after I swapped the disc over and changed back to it I got the same message again.... works fine with original discs tho. Strange eh? Mebbe a faulty drive? Many thanks for the info. I have gone and ordered my unit with the MP3 Keg and will let you guys know how it turned out! Phil.
  14. I have the standard stereo. No Sat Nav. Superb sound tho, really impressed!
  15. Righto, First posting, so please go easy... I have not long purchased a Lexus IS200SE (01 plate) and to be honest, this is the best vehicle I have ever drove. My only complaint is my factory stereo will not play backup cd's. Now I have been through the forum and made notes of several issues regarding these radios. The one I have does not give me a ERR problem and has the loading bay at the top of the unit. So, after a week of searching I have decided to buy an aftermarket unit. The problem I envisage now is I need to know what HU cables or Wiring Harness Adapters that are required to fit this: Kenwood KVT-725DVD-B I have purchased a fascia that changes to a single DIN, now I'm just stuck on how to wire the damn unit. Any wiring part numbers of links to sites would be of great interest. Just about to sign up and become a GOLD member and gonna go start me garage section to get some images and details up. Looking forward to some response..... Phil.
