  1. I use https://www.westfieldmotors.co.uk in Rayleigh.
  2. Mine is Chardonnay, but's it's called Beige on the DVLA documents. And I suspect the same is true for the DVLA with the Egyptian Pearl.
  3. I used Westfield Motors in Rayleigh to fit the belts, water pump etc'. As I had previously order the required parts from Rock Autos in the US and supplied them to Westfield Motors. They reported they were impressed with the quality of parts.
  4. Nigel, I had wondered about using an airbrush, with an aerosol can propellent. So am pleased to see you consider it a viable option. The airbrush kits seem to be cheap enough to experiment with this option. I'm not surprised your suffering with all that dabbing.😀 I'll be away shortly, for a couple of weeks so will pick this up again when I get back and let you know how I get on.
  5. Nigel, Your article was perfectly timed, as I was wondering how to improve my Ecru interior and now I know how it can be achieved. The comprehensive description of the work you undertook and also the detailed list of materials and sources, is an invaluable resource. Very many thanks
  6. There must have been another one there, as mine is gold (Chardonnay) and as far as I remember the roof was up that weekend. But we were two up, plus dog on the back seat😊
  7. Nick, I saw you car parked in front of a Cromer sea front hotel a couple of weeks back and very nice it looked too. I had my SC430 parked less than a mile away in East Runton, Unfortunately I could only manage 27MPG on the 70 mile run up from West Suffolk.
  8. I used the Toyota/Lexus G-Spider's https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-is-phase-2-18-g-spider-front-alloy-wheel/ These are 8", as per Neil's comment. Tim
  9. I used Westfield Motors Ltd in Rayleigh, Essex (which I guess is about an hour from you), for my belts, pump, pulleys etc
  10. This happened a few weeks back while my wife was driving and an inattentive third party drove into her. The car is currently at the repairers, awaiting a new front panel that is back order with Lexus. I'm told that delivery of this will (hopefully) be by the end of January, so I should get the car back in February. Apparently all the other parts required are currently available. As the front of the car needs to come off, I though I'd use the opportunity to change the turn and parking light bulbs to LED's. On other forums, I've seen the Sylvania 3457A zevo recommended as replacement turn bulb. This is a amber coloured bulb, but do UK car use a amber or clear front turn bulbs? And Sylvania car bulbs are not readily available in the UK, so does anybody have recommendations for LED front turn and parking bulbs? Many thanks Tim
