  1. Thanks for that Peter. I store my car at Charlton Park near Malmesbury which is 10 mins from Tetbury. He is full at the moment but they are building new facilities which open later this year. They are really good but not the cheapest around.
  2. I've just discovered that the guy who has serviced my SC430 and was Lexus & Toyota trained, has left the garage I've used for years. Can anyone recommend a good specialist?? I'm due a very full service when she come out of storage in March...
  3. I think that's how I will go. I need a cheap donkey for 18 months which is likely to get abused so the 450h looks like the better shout...Thanks
  4. So, this one has a appeared at Lexus in Edgware (Ironically, a few 100yds from my old junior school). Any thoughts anyone has, most appreciated: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202312084656390?fromSavedAds=true&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=relevance&postcode=gl116ad
  5. Thanks for this, I hadn't notice the overspray but it's blindly obvious, that alone is a enough to put me off. I'll keep searching and thanks for your quick response..
  6. I am think about buying a RX400h, any advice much appreciated. I've seen this in Autotrader....any comments..?? Good price/value or not..?? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202302224544494?sort=relevance&include-delivery-option=on&make=Lexus&maximum-mileage=40000&model=RX 400h&postcode=gl116ad&radius=1500&year-to=2022&advertising-location=at_cars&fromsra
  7. Bloody Hell!!, It's a pretty easy thing to miss though. I am daily staggered about the improvement and delighted to have been able to pass my observations on...
  8. That's a great link Nigel...Didn't know about those guys...
  9. Here is the ugly evidence. I reckon the nearside one weighed only half of it's replacement. As someone who is pretty fastidious about maintenance and safety, I was frankly shocked and embarrassed about the state of these. Simple to ignore and overlook. To reiterate, not surprisingly (in hindsight) this change has totally transformed the front end driving experience. Best regards. Nick
  10. Hi Anthony, I kept the manky ones that came off. I will take some pics and post them over the next few days. It's such a blindingly obvious thing to do (post event obvs🙂) considering the amount of work they have to do and the twisting effect constantly on them. My car has just passed 76k and they look like the originals. I cannot emphasise enough the magic it has worked on the driving experience. Best regards. Nick
  11. Excellent, I saw you (Black SC430) driving past two up with the roof down😃
