  1. Thanks, I’m loving the colour in the sunshine, several shades of blue, purple, shiny bits when you zoom in on the picture. Was talking to the dealer about the launch of the LBX coming up, looks like it might be an interesting option next swap time. Same size and chassis as the Toyota Yaris cross with an improved engine and Lexus interior. Price from £30K, so a fully specced model Takumi will be less than the entry UX and ES. I dont really need a big car, only me in it.
  2. A pleasant hour with the dealer this morning, a quick look around an LC convertible (but I didn’t win the lottery last night) free gift this time of the nice key holder and a water bottle, he remembers giving me the brolly last time. really like the info updated info screen oh and a full tank of fuel, which I had already seen on the app a few days ago
  3. Yes, same as current one, front and rear £275.
  4. Been watching my car move around the dealership today, it is currently unlocked and the doors all open with the keys inside, I think they are doing the cameras. it was driven for 2 miles to the BP where it had been filled up very tempting to try out the remote climate, which is new with the upgraded comms on the 23 spec. collecting on Saturday morning
  5. Just done a quick meerkat whilst on a sales call £608 with a black box and £830 without will be going back to Lexus at lunchtime to take their offer
  6. Protected 10yrs yes, no to everything else
  7. Not a happy chap after trying to insure my new car today. called Lloyds and told her I am swapping my car for exactly the same but new at the weekend. She told me that my current underwriter won’t insure me? tried another one and it came to £930. went back to the Lexus one for the 3 day drive away and it is slightly better at £600.
  8. Maybe now petrol is a bit cheaper again they can start to put more in
  9. They usually hand you the keys with it fuelled up as a gesture, it’s not part of your initial negotiation
  10. I have had two full tanks of fuel and an umbrella. The second top up of fuel came a few weeks after pick up when it went back in for a minor repair (replaced chrome trim round window) that I spotted on collection day. I will pick up my new one in about a week, so we shall see what I get this time (apart from my coffee and biscuits)
  11. That’s a good deal, mine is £34,480 this time and 18 months ago my current one was £32,300. incidentally, I am getting £30k back on my old one against the new one in my new deal. Less than 10% depreciation in 18 months is amazing
  12. Dropped into my dealership to confirm paperwork etc, my car valuation has dropped to under £30k but they will honour the £31k from February. He thinks it is because the delivery times are down to 3 months now. Still not bad though, only lost 10% in 18 months. They had the limited edition RC F, only 15 in Europe and 4 in UK apparently, it looks fantastic, £97K though.

Hiya, we got ours at the same time and I have done 3700 just about with my average showing 47.7. I drive in eco most of the time unless I want to pull away from a roundabout a bit quicker. June and July we’re both 53 with my worst being 43 over the winter
  15. App says the car has landed in Bristol, so up to Derby them down to me, I reckon another 10-14 days. that means 3 months from order in Feb.
  16. Yea, I had seen that, but they look so similar over here with the same integrated spoiler, size etc. All f sports here and surprisingly all have been hybrid rather than the v6, the front grill looks so much cooler and bigger without a number plate in the way
  17. Mine is still due in June, 4 months after placing the order. in Orlando at moment and only seen a few over here, loads of the similar shaped Camrys around though.
  18. Hi, if you use LinkedIn it is very easy to find senior employees at Steven Eagell group in Milton Keynes, just send them direct messages
  19. This is very disappointing to hear, I believe Cambridge are under the Steven Eagell brand the same as here in MK where I am always treated as a VIP. In fact they also have a Toyota dealership a few miles away where I used to take an old company car and again the service was amazing. I would also contact the head office for the group who I think are also based in Milton Keynes on Knowlhill
  20. Just ordered a t bar steering lock, the one that grips the top and sits across the dash. As others say, a visual deterrent makes a difference to opportunistic. My drive shape means that if you can’t steer, you can’t go anywhere.
  21. What I meant was the level should match, so just over £50k at the moment
  22. The luxury tax should fall in line with the 40% income tax threshold instead, it would make far more sense.
  23. A year for the ML chip is ridiculous, surely it must be more than just a processor chip, is it the same problem for every car globally using ML sound, I know most of the US cars have it installed. I know the software on the chip is setup to match the car acoustics, amp, speaker number and location. So surely it is the same chip used on all cars and then the software is matched to the model.
  24. Car is built and has left the factory still looking good for June delivery
  25. Further update, according to the app my new car has gone into build today. So that’s one month since placing the order. I’m estimating, a month to build and two months to arrive, so still looking like June
