  1. You should be able to do it yourself. You can register a replacement valve yourself or you can just add all four as a second set of wheels. Have a read here.
  2. It takes ages to register the sensors Scott, I think they’ve exited too quick. I seem to think it says “registration complete” then a few miles.
  3. It does take a few miles so I’d keep going but I can’t remember what mine said on the dash while it was doing it.
  4. I don’t find mine noisier than a van even with RFTs on. Don’t know what’s going on there.
  5. Going back to this wheel. I’m in and out of Piccadilly every day this week. I can tell you if it’s a front or a back before anybody removes the evidence. Up to you.
  6. It’s an amazing coincidence isn’t it 🤔
  7. A big problem is the amount of uninsured scumbags making off after a bump is growing and growing.
  8. I’m not convinced a Lexus tyre fitter is any better than a decent tyre centre fitter (National Tyres didn’t harm my pressure centre, they completely scrapped a brand new wheel so I’m not friends with them!). However, they probably carry spares if they do ruin one and are well positioned to reprogram them.
  9. The theory is good 👍. I thought I’d read you were highly circumcised at first 😳. Nearly as bad as being recently snipped.
  10. I’m always suspicious when “somebody’s been there” but I think a damaged valve would be obvious and I know from experience the system can get scrambled if tyres have been changed. It’s not a big deal to reset it if you’ve got the gear.
  11. I came from a Cross and it was noticeably higher than this UX. Nowhere near the quality though.
  12. If you can’t do it, meet me back at the same place and I’ll do it with my scanner. They sometimes take a good drive to settle down.
  13. You can initialise the TPMS in the setting menu via the steering wheel control on the left.
  14. It’s a vehicle carrier Tel! It says Gibraltar but my guess is it’s on its way to Livorno in Italy via the long way. Happy tracking!
  15. Have a look at a Yaris Cross. It’s just like a mini RAV4 but it’s higher than an LBX.
  16. You mean the 12v battery Claudia? You’d know by now if there was something wrong and the big traction battery which is under the seat is also well protected by fuses so don’t worry.
  17. It can but it can hang you too. If you drop even a slightly questionable clanger, they’ll want to see it!
  18. I never liked that idea on my old NX but I’m pleased to gloat that you can set it at any speed and vary it by 1mph on current models.
  19. Well it’s a bit late but here are the promised photos. This is the deck with all the boards in place. This is the part number on the back, it’s very hard to read and it’s no easier in the flesh. On mine you can drop that a level. Not sure about earlier models. Take that out and there’s a thinner board. It’s supported by the styrene insert. and this is the part number (sorry you’ll have to flick it over!) Take that out and you’ll see the styrene insert with spaces for gadgets. To get that out you need to pop the right side panels out (dead easy) but then you can see why you can’t get a spacesaver under there on an AWD. You might on a FWD but not a big one. These are the deck boards out. You can string the top one up while you rout underneath.
  20. Of the OE options, Dunlops are by far the quietest.
  21. The car arrived on the 8th at Portbury. It has to go to Toyota at Burnaston first then to the dealer who is predicting the 22nd. I sent you a pm with prices.
  22. I’ll check tomorrow but surprisingly cheap imo. I’ve got two mates taking delivery of a new car, one Yaris and one LBX and neither have shown anything on the app other than “order processing” until it’s turned up at the dealer. There was a delivery at Portbury yesterday and the ship has left for its next call at Zebrugge. Are you sure yours wasn’t on it.
  23. They’re an extra 2-3 weeks at sea now because they’re coming around Africa rather than the Suez.
  24. Battery problems are usually associated with low use and moreover following covid. We see this in our own little world but it applies to all brands. There was a definite problem with the Mutlu batteries but that may have been addressed in production. Time will tell.
