    Cheers guys, might save myself a few quid and keep my old iPhone. Do like the idea of wireless charging, seems such a waste and disappointing that they didn’t try one of the best selling phones on their wireless charger!!

    Have a 2023 450+ and like a lot of people can’t use the wireless charging with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Wondered if things have improved with the latest iPhone?

    Gone though all the settings but my car no longer beeps when reversing/manoeuvring. Not knowingly turned them off.

    I’m going to try the self charge system and see how it goes. Much prefer the car when it’s electric only. Will have to see if it’s costs me more than a fiver in petrol to fully charge it. I’m sure someone must have done the maths!

    Always thought that charging the car using the engine was less efficient than petrol alone. I’ve never used the inbuilt charger. Have checked changing to KMH so all good. Concerning about the lights though, had the same issue with my previous Volvo which claimed to auto dim.

    I only charge at home as when out and about in the UK, the costs seem extortionate and dearer than petrol. Looking at charging in France, it seems even more of a minefield.

    Off to France soon and wondered if anybody’s has ventured abroad and bothered to charge the car whilst on a long trip or just filled it with petrol and use as a standard hybrid.

    I took my Nextbase 622GW F&R cameras out of my old V90 before I returned it. Lexus Derby have quoted me £245 just to fit them into my NX. Only cost me £99 when Halfords fitted them!

    It is, I didn't have a choice in the supplier but was a very poor handover. The delivery driver told me to read the handbook as he had no idea about the car or how it worked!! Was also dirty. Took the shine off getting my new car. Will go and speak to them now about this damage.

    Marc, was going for the red interior but thought it might be too bright. Wish I’d been braver. Can I ask if these marks on the drivers handle are part of the manual key opening or damage? Enjoying the car even if so do keep trying to start it with the right hand temp control 😂

    After just a 7 month wait, mines being delivered tomorrow morning . Nice to see they are getting it fully charged before delivery Don’t you just love New Car Day. Like a kid on Christmas Eve 😁

    Well that’s the biggest part of the journey over, looks like it won’t belong before we get our cars. Found it interesting tracking the ship from Japan, anyone got a link to the Car Transporter Tracker 😂

    I see the Viking Adventure has come to an almost standstill off the North Devon Coast. Looks like it’s going to dock early morning tomorrow now.

    They said they can turn them around in 48 hours, excluding weekends.

    Was at Derby Lexus yesterday and they confirmed my car is on the Viking Adventure and should be with them on the 19th of August, think I’ll just wait and get it registered for the 1st September. Interestingly they had a brand new 450+ F-Sport, the same as I’ve ordered in white with black interior sat in the showroom for sale! No 7 month wait.

    It’s not just me tracking the boat then? Gets to Italy on 23rd July.

    Looks like we’re in the same boat 😁 I’m guessing mid August, might see if I can bounce it to September for a 72 plate.

    It was due off the factory line 7/6. They did say last time that it would arrive in the UK by the 27/7 which ties in with RXtoNX. Guess they want me to feel I’ve got my car early rather than 2 months late 😂 it does seem they’ve done a run of 450”s that are heading to the UK at the same time.

    Had an update on my NX450+. Checked Marine Traffic and the boat has left Japan and heading for the Suez Canal.

    Had a call from the Lexus Customer Relations and I asked if they could give me an update on the delivery time of my car and a day later got this update via email. Bonus, I'd been given a delivery date of 20/09/22, ordered early Feb. 450+ F-Sport

    Got my update yesterday. Ordered 450+ end of Jan and had a date of Aug 5th now forecast to be Sept 20th. A move of 46 days. Have a feeling this won't be the last delay! My current lease can only be extended till the end of Sept.

    Plug is going on the outside wall of where my fuse box is, couldn’t see how it could be any simpler. Let’s hope your right and Lexus will pick up the tab, that would be great news. £86 for a fitted ev charger seems good value. Might even look at renting it out for the next 5 months whilst I wait for my car to arrive!

    Had my video survey yesterday with BG, only took 20 minutes and very straightforward. Quote came through half hour later of £86 for a tethered charger. Been given a date for install of 4th April so wondering if I’ll have to pay the £350 now. Bit of a bummer if those 4 days cost me £350!! Car supposedly coming August.

    With Lexus rightly no longer exporting cars to Russia, I wonder if the waiting times will reduce. The NX was Russias best selling Lexus.
