Well I've reluctantly cancelled my NX350H in Sonic White with rose seats and sunroof. Reason being that every ETA I've been given hasn't happened and the latest promise was Nov which I've been told will not happen. Lexus customer service have been absolutely brilliant though.They did all they could to get me to change my mind but its too late as I've had a call from my local Mercedes dealer to tell me theyve got a cancelled C class Premium available. I've decided to take it and I pick it up this weekend. I'm a little bit sad that I wont be a Lexus owner this time around but the main reason for me cancelling has been the lack of communication and the sudden availability of the C Class. As I said eralier Lexus customer services themselves have been excellent but I can't say the same about the Lexus dealer. So I'll be waving goodbye to this forum of which I've become quite attached. I would have been very surprised if they didn't have a reversing camera. Are you enjoying your car? Is it as good as they say? What's your average MPG

Does anybody know how long it takes for delivery once its gone into build? Does anybody know if the NX 350H with premium pack has a reversing camera?

I wonder why they didn't accept my cancellation?

It's amazing how the dealers have given people different lengths of time before they get their new car. I ordered my 350 with premium pack back in Feb and have been given so many dates. First of all July then Sep now November. I tried to cancel but was talked out of it by my dealer with the threat of them not giving me my deposit back. They could easily have accepted my cancel request as the car has gone up in price since I ordered back in Feb. They didn't want me to cancel and even offed a couple of free services. It must be as frustrating for the dealer as it is for us.

It states about 47mpg in the NX forum but i reckon that wouldn't be normal. I went for a test drive a while ago and the average was 38mpg. Others state they've been getting almost 50mpg

What MPG did you manage from Peacehaven to Derby and back?

That's excellent. A salesman took me for a spin in a NX350H and his total average was 38.5

I ordered the exact same as you mid Feb and its now gone back to November. I was told its 3 months away once its gone into build. I was also told my vehicle will not show on the app until i have the VIN !! Can you explain how you are able to see your vehicle when you dont have the VIN?

I popped into a dealer in Reading and he told me if I ordered a new NX 350 today there would be a 14 month wait!!

Popped into my local Lexus today and he told me that the likely delivery for my ordered in Feb NX350 is more than likely going to be in 2023. He couldn't explain why my dealer suggested July then Sep then November. He did say that they'll honour the price and that the wait will be worth it.

Well going back a month or 2 now I tried to cancel my order but the dealer tried everything to keep me. I was originally told a July delivery. It then moved to September. Today I received a call from the dealer to say that delivery date has now been put back to November. It was ordered late Feb,

hmmm I suppose it all depends when the 2023 spec comes into play. Then if your car goes into build 2023 spec the price will go up. So the question is "when does the 2023 spec come into play?"

Am I reading it correctly. It states that the cost of the ordered Lexus may go into the 2023 spec and therefore may cost more. Which means we may be charged the 2023 price and if we don't like it we can cancel and get our deposit back??

Well I contacted my dealer and told him that I wanted to cancel as I wasn't happy with the whole Lexus experience. They have done nothing but try and convince me to keep with them. They have even offered me 2 free services. They did say the likelihood of the car arriving end of July is unlikely and September is more likely. They know I ordered my NX before the price increase so I'm sure it would be easy to find a new customer. I thought they'd bite my hand of but seems they want to keep my custom.

The car was brought remotely. I've never visited the dealership The deal has all been completed over the phone. I didn't want this to happen but I've had enough , the communication has been awful. I'll never buy a car remotely again. At least if its local you can pop into the showroom and have a little moan!!

Well I've made the decision to cancel my order. I'm not happy with the communication its absolutely appalling. I'm just not happy with the whole show.. I'll never attempt to buy a car remotely again. At least if the dealer is close you can go in and have a little moan.

i was surprised myself. I've had am email of Lexus customer services and they confirmed that the dealer had given me an ETA update. It seems my little moan to customer services has done a bit of good. I'll keep you informed,👋

I contacted the Dealer this morning and he has given me an ETA update of July 17th! I was expecting him to say that the date had been put back. Lets wait and see!
