  1. I just picked up my car on Friday, build was early March. It is a 24 model year.
  2. My car was due in Edinburgh 27 April, got stuck in Derby (locking wheel nut issue). Was given revised date of 12 May, then 22 May, but appeared in Edinburgh on 17th. Picked it up yesterday. No locking wheel nuts on the car 🤷🏻‍♂️. Lexus comms are hopeless. VERY happy with car tho.
  3. Is your car held up with the locking wheel nut issue? My car was expected at the dealer on 27 April. Latest ETA is 22 May. Will have been in Derby for at least 6 weeks. Very frustrating, particularly since i sold my existing car just pre the 27 April ‘arrival date’ as no issues anticipated with delivery.
  4. David. Can I ask how you managed that. As my car is in Derby I assumed that wouldn’t be an option as I can’t negotiate with the local dealer to just release it. Cheers.
  5. Dealer has now confirmed delay due to issue with locking wheel nuts. Doesn’t know when it will be resolved. They are certainly good at testing one’s patience!
  6. My car is stuck in Derby. Was due at dealer on 27 April and I only found out it hadn’t got to them by contacting the dealer on that day. Revised date is now 12 May (it will have been in Derby for 3 weeks). Dealer has no idea what is causing delay and can’t call them to ask. Apparently has to be electronic comms and no one answers. What happened to Kaizen? Terrible internal comms in Lexus.
  7. My car with the same spec also completed build on 16 March. My dealer told me about 3 weeks ago it should be ready for handover on 27 April (notwithstanding some days delay before shipped). He confirmed this on 4 April was still the case. My estimated delivery when I ordered last July was this July so ahead of expectations.
  8. My dealer told me that as I ordered a tow bar at the same time as the car, it would be fitted at the factory in Japan.
  9. Thanks. Talked to my dealer and although he doesn’t know which ship it’s on he knows it is expected at the dealership 27 April. All hunky dory given they said 12 months delivery estimate when I ordered last July.
  10. Where did you find out it was a 2024 model year? My nx350h has just finished build and left the factory yesterday but that is all the info I can see on MyLexus
  11. Received notification my 350H entered build today. Probably about 10 weeks earlier than i expected. Due at dealer end April/early May. Seems like Lexus must be upping their output.
  12. I ordered a 350H in early July 2022 with a 12 month estimated delivery date, which dealer still expects to be the case. I think the next 6 weeks will be interesting. Toyota group production in japan has gone from a steady 250000 cars a month to 300000 planned in February and 350000 for March. Production outwith japan planned to fall, which suggests they are prioritising chips etc to probably higher margin Japanese production. Has NX production gone up? Should find out in coming weeks. I’ll take a view then.
  13. Ordered a 350h a couple of weeks ago after a test drive where I was also impressed. Was also given a 12 month estimated delivery time. I was ok with this as not unexpected and have just serviced and retyred my existing car.
