So far underwhelming in terms of any new functionality, was hoping it might include the long awaited wireless AA but no. Hopefully it will fix the profile sync error which I have twice this week already (pre update)

Same issue as the Door Lock/Unlock feature for me, I can only use unlock if the vehicle was locked with the app. If the vehicle has been locked via the key fob, it cannot be unlocked with the app whether Doors or Boot, just generates an error about the alarm. Lexus told me this was how it is so should be the same for everybody.

Company Car Insurance stipulated we had to have a Scorpion Tracker installed which they did and not had any problems. Don't know if there are different models though.

Constantly in use, just a combination of me being stupid (i've read all the posts in this thread!) and the circumstances of quickly trying to fix something before the road trip (obviously I'm blaming the profile error for this!!)

Aagh, happened to me this morning. I was only in the car because I was sorting the dreaded profile error for the wife before she set off for a 250 mile road trip. Can only have been 5 mins. No jump leads so had to wait for the AA. Wife not happy as 1.5 hrs late setting off! So many little things spoiling the experience of this car.

Fact is, should not have to be resorting to a dongle with a car of this cost and supposed market segment. Come on Lexus, sort out what you have been promising....

So, given the seemingly mixed responses here regarding the ability to lock/unlock the NX using the app if the vehicle has been locked with th fob, I raised this issue with Lexus, response is below. If anybody's experience is defo in contradiction to this, let me know. Oh, and for good measure, they then decided to reset the account and remove the Car from the app

Thanks for the test, that confirms my experience. Question is, is the car alarmed when locking with the App? App functionality only seems to be of use if you park up and walk off, forgetting to lock the car. Had a beamer before and managed to lock the keys in it. Fortunately the BMW app didn't care how the car had been locked!. Sure I read somewhere that it's not possible to lock the lexus with the keys in it so that's something!

Does the app unlock function work after you have locked the vehicle with the Key? If so it may be a point of difference between Android and IOS

So it would appear that the app unlock will not work if the car has been locked with the key which according to the notification seems to be because of the alarm being set. It does work fine if the car is locked with the app but I then wonder if the car is alarmed using this method. Flashing the hazards works well!
