Sorry to bring this subject {MPG etc] but would appreciate some help and guidance if possible. Had my NX since pick up 2nd Jan...so needless to say all trips done in cold, very cold and minus temperatures. Total mileage driven so far is 900 miles and will require a first fuel top up very shortly For the first time since getting the car I have been able to sit inside [in better temp !] and spend some time searching various items and subjects within the Multimedia. It is currently showing a mileage per Kw of 2.2, which I assume will increase as the temp increases to somewhere near to others on the forum showing 3.10 +. My current EV milage is 39 to 41 on a full battery and is doing that. Unable to locate the screen page showing the mpg average since collection. I have not done any resets. When I ask the nice 'Hi Lexus' lady she is informs my current mpg which has been going up slightly over the past 3 weeks, and is now 54.6. How does these figures compare with others? .....and am I right in assuming that the mpg is calculated via the fuel used since pick up....and when I fill up will it show range based on this [54.6] OR is all this simply a guessometer of figures and that simply charge and fuel up when needed is the way to go.

Had my 450h for past 4 weeks. Using a OHME wallbox charger which was used on previous car BMW. Purchased March last year and just managed to get the £350 Gov allowance at that time. Not sure of costs to install right now. Charger has tethered cable attached [which I would recommend]....so..... as long as you can park near to it on house drive then just jump out and plug in. Charger will cut out when car battery gets to 100%. Car charges at 6.6 kw in approx 2.8 hours each night....current cost about £2.90 per charge. No issues and charger app shows all info like costs, Kw used, etc each day/month so know exactly how much I am spending.

So.......I have followed Andy B advice. Pressed continue, entered password etc. After a battery busting trip yesterday the pop up has 'popped off' so fingers crossed it stays away. Lexus app is still connected via bluetooth as usual and all still working. PS.. separate issue; but can one send a destination route to the car via the app? if so how ? Harrier Man; I have also connected my house wifi to the car, not sure why but has not caused any issues. Minus 5 degrees today so hope I can get in it and after first 1K miles going to top up fuel for first time........ assuming the cap opens. The possessors are possessed !!😄 Once again guys thank you a for your help and guidance.

Thank you Pete. Two things please. [1] The screen shows that the mobile is fully connected via bluetooth and is working fine, so is the Lexus app in relation to car info etc. [2] In regard to WiFi, the car is not connected as I was not aware that this was necessary....[repeat Non-Tech]. As it would seem that other members have similar issues, are you saying that the Wifi connection should be done home/local and then await to see if the pop up has been deleted for good.

Thanks Eddie ...but have pressed 'cancel' at least a dozen times in past few trips and still comes back each time after every 10 minutes or so. Thanks Andy B ...will try your suggestion tomorrow morning and report back if it helps others. Failing that will add it to my list for a dealer visit.

Hi Guys ... Some further help please if possible for a real novice NON-Tech owner. Had the car for past three weeks and loving it. On collection dealer downloaded Lexus app on my phone and connected to the system . All ok and everything is working as should be i..e Lexus app, phone connection, sat nav etc etc. The system has just my name as driver and no other details have been entered . past week a new window keeps appearing every ten minutes of driving which informs 'Profile cannot be synced...latest profile could not be loaded using the network ; Enter your password to sync " Not wanting to cause any further problems by re-entering passwords, I keep choosing cancel.....but it keeps coming back !! Can anyone guide me through it

Ok .....so have changed the doors settings to unlock when "P' is selected and try that for a while. After some 50 years of car ownership starting to feel a complete 'non-tech' novice when having to ask about how to lock/ unlock car doors !!! Thank you again guys for your guidance from helpful people who use the car daily.

Thank you Ronnie and others ; Yes...... I can fully understand the reason given. No children in mine as passengers as now all to OLD !! Please can you guide me through in changing the settings menu so that I do not need to press the global button and passenger can exit easily. Thanks again people

Hi again to all of you very helpful guys on this excellent forum. Collected my NX 450 H this week and very impressed with the car, though not so equally impressed with the owners manual !! Maybe someone can throw some 'light' on this subject as I am sure I must be doing something wrong. Senario 1 ; Heavy rain...Pull up on my drive at night with shopping in boot, power off, and interior roof lights stay on for approx 30 seconds before any opening of any doors. However immediately I power off, all of the drivers door and dashboard illuminated switches go off, leaving me to scramble around in the dark areas [even with the roof lights still on] looking for the boot switch to open the tailgate prior to getting out to grab the shopping. Furthermore on two occations [ daytime] I pressed the tailgate switch on the dashboard and no response....so did the kick action instead... outside. Senario 2; Pull up on the drive and my passenger cannot open the door unless I press the 'green illuminated unlock' button on drivers door....is this always the case...or can I change the default so that I do not have to keep pressing the opening switch? Again guys any help or guidance would be appreciated

Just took delivery of new 450 H and forgot to ask this subject My previous car [BMW] had what is know as 'sleeping key fob' i.e if fob is stationery after a certain time it shuts down any signal so that it makes it more difficult to gain access. Does the Lexus vehicles have the same?...if not then is it back to a Faraday pouch or similar for security reasons ?

Thank you one and all guys. May try the Lexus Parts Direct. More expensive but maybe worth the extra and look like they can hold water/mud etc in the footwell. Did use Carmats4 U on previous car but returned them due to significant rubber smell that overpowered the interior.

Hi, Can anybody recommend a good supplier/good quality tailored rubber mats for front footwell and boot areas. Thank you.

Looking forward to picking up a [nearly] new NX 450h + F Sport next week. After reading various reviews over the past few days, one item that seems to get certain negative points is the HUD ....being somewhat confusing. Mainly in relation to everyday use. My previous car had all of the usual toys....but had separate clear defined buttons on the steering wheel or on a dial [BMW] Would appreciate your views and how you find its operation. In perticular using/answering phone calls, volume, etc and making calls to contacts. Can selection of Adaptive CC/ speed adjustment / cancelation be made easily on the move. How do you find the use of "voice control' for say new Sat Nav directions .....phone calling etc ? Thank you again for any guidance

Do hope I can get to grips with the Sat Nav and other controls coupled with their HUD/ Steering wheel buttons .....looks rather complicated at first view. Again my best wishes to you all

[1] My current [range anxiety!!] car is a pure EV and have been using my home 7.5 Kw wall charger[OHME]on a type C plug with excellent service along with various size public chargers when needed so........ On any longish trips can I still use a public charger at 7.... to say 50 kw ? Does the Lexus limit the take to a max of 7 kw ? Or can it take more to speed up the charge time? [2] I will of course try and take in the dealers help and instruction on pick up ...... but..... Do I need to take any special additional attention to the Infotainment centre in relation to setting up my mobile phone, Sat Nav, and Lexus mobile app etc....anybody had any tech problems in this area since pick up, as I am NOT too tech savvy ! and it is not a local dealer. I am an Android user. [3] How do you rate the Sat Nav interface for directions and general info. Is the Sat Nav directions shown on the HUD easy to see and follow? Does it show charging points en route. OR is Android Auto is Google Maps etc better than the fitted Nav ?if so do I have to connect my phone via a cable or use WiFi ? Any further advice on similar areas I need to check on pick up day would be gratefully appreciated Maybe too many questions on one post !!!!
