  1. 2020 Lexus UX F Sport E Four Takumi pack My insurance is up for renewal , current insurer AVIVA increased renewal quote from £700 to £2000 including , NCB protection , legal cover and courtesy car small . No Claim , NCB 13 years . Tried ringing them but they won’t reduce and happy for me to go elsewhere . Adrian Flux could not help either . Cheapest I could find on comparison website with 5000 miles down from 8000 was £880 to 1000 with Admiral , AGEAS , RIAZ , but when i go to their page from comparison sites page , my car details change despite entering car reg . All it says is Lexus UX F Sport . Do I accept this as it is , how do I specify E 4 Takumi pack , I thought that was part of the manufacturer configuration . I have not done any modifications . What do you all think . Thanks
  2. UX 2020 , I removed my vehicle from the link+ app and re added it , now I can’t seem to activate connected services , keep getting message asking me to check network . Tried to log out , remove app and re install . No luck . It was working till Wednesday . I can connect phone to car via Bluetooth etc . I am able to see my vehicle online on the portal and the multimedia is linked . It’s the app that won’t connect to car to activate the connected service . Any suggestions? Thanks
  3. UX 2020 , I removed my vehicle from the link+ app and re added it , now I can’t seem to activate connected services , keep getting message asking me to check network . Tried to log out , remove app and re install . No luck . It was working till yesterday . Any suggestions? Thanks
  4. Hi All Does any one know what is the latest software and Nav version for UX2020 F sport Takumi pack
  5. Both my app and website was down till today morning . Does anyone know how to send a trip to car directly from the new app without having to log on to the Lexus website . Thanks
  6. Anyone having issues with this new app . I can’t log in both online or on the app since today evening Thanks
  7. I can’t seem to log into my app or online services all of a sudden since today evening . Anyone having issues logging in ? Thanks
  8. Thanks , I was never given a calibration certificate or any paperwork . I am quite surprised why they don’t provide any certificate etc . I will speak to them Monday and see how it goes . I am not very good with spanner’s and tools , so not sure about doing it by myself 😀.
  9. Noticed a new problem today after it started to rain , when the wipers work the driver side one keeps hitting the pillar and makes an annoying tapping noise , which was never there before the windscreen change . Is it something that can be easily fixed ? I tried to remove the blade alone and replace it but no change . Any suggestions ? Thanks 🙏
  10. Update if anyone interested Had my windscreen replaced and calibrated by national windscreen today, as of now all seems to be working fine . I paid the insurance glass replacement excess of £115 . Windscreen was genuine Lexus but I had to request for it . No issues with stock availability. Booking process was swift and it took them around 3 hours to complete the work . Local branch customer service not very friendly . Head office team’s customer service was really good . After the glass replacement I was not provided with any paperwork by the local branch , I was expecting some kind of a certificate , wondered if that is the norm . Going to chase this up with customer service . Thanks for reading
  11. Thank you , was that one of the London national windscreen garages ?
  12. Hi I received the below reply “ Lexus Customer Relations ref: CASE xxxxxxx Thank you for contacting us. Just recently we have encountered a number of issues relating to the connected car functionality and our application 'app'. We are aware of various issues, some of which we know to be a direct result of some recent system changes and the migration of the app to a new platform. While we remain sure of the longer term benefits of this migration, at this moment in time, users might expect some functionality issues where we have no immediate fix. It appears your enquiry relates directly to this matter. Please rest assured we are doing all we can to get to the bottom of these issues but in the meantime we are not able to offer immediate advice or a corrective course of action. We are working towards resolving all current issues. In the meantime, should you choose to remove and reinstall the app and restart the connection process to your vehicle, this will have no detrimental effect. Once we are confident the corrective measures have been made, we will advise all our Centres who can then support and advise you as necessary. If still required, support will be available in the new year from your local Centre. We are sorry for any inconvenience or disruption as a result of this temporary problem and hope this won't impact greatly on your overall satisfaction with us. 13. Updating , insurance has agreed to genuine Lexus windscreen and national windscreen has sourced one . They have given me an appointment next week for fitting and ADAS calibration at their garage . 4 hours estimated time for replacement , thus far national windscreen team have been super helpful and swift . Hope everything goes well next week . I will update once it’s all done if any one is interested . Thanks
  14. Update , I have been told my national windscreen they can order and fit an after market windscreen very quickly by 16th Nov . I requested for Lexus original windscreen, for that it seems they have to get approval from insurer and then look for a supplier and possibly delays . Not sure what that process is . I dint know it was this difficult to get Lexus parts ? . My MOT is due soon and looks like Iam in bit of a puddle . I dint want to go for the after market one especially because of all the sensors , HUD , lane change assist etc associated with my windscreen . Does any one here know how long it takes to get Lexus windscreens and is it best to stick with Lexus part than after market ? Thanks
