  1. Hi Tom, No, I don't need to touch the start button, just unlock and open a door or the boot. This also unlocks the charge socket but it locks again when the car is locked? Cheers, Alex.
  2. Hi, I'm using an Ohme charger on Intelligent Octopus Go to charge my RX450h+ at the cheapest tariff rate, generally between 23:30 and 5:30. The charger is set to only charge when the cheapest tariff reaches the lowest rate and stop charging when it rises. When I plug in the car, the charger reads "delayed charging" and usually works fine. I recently discovered if I return to the car after plugging it in and unlock it to retrieve something then lock it again somehow disables the charging without any indication this has happened. Anyone else seeing this and have a possible solution because it's annoying to find the car didn't charge overnight!
  3. Towing capacity is 2000kg. I used to get about 20mpg on a long run towing a 1500kg van.
  4. It may be linked to the key used if she uses the other fob?
  5. Could be the network is so slow it takes ages to download all your data, possibly leaving it longer between resets would have been successful?
  6. Sounds like it's picking up the second unregistered key rather than the one you normally used.
  7. It's not an issue really, the rear box heat shield fell off on my 2008 RX400h and the mechanic said the rear box never gets hot enough for it to be needed. The front box heat shield is a different matter though!
  8. This video shows you how to do it from 38:50.
  9. It's pretty useless basically if you want to use cheap rate electricity, I ended up setting it start at the beginning of the cheap rate and just hope it finishes before it ends. Got fed up with it after a few weeks and bought an Ohme charger so charging was fully controlled.
  10. That's spot on, the only way to get rid of it!
  11. I found the QR code totally useless as well and ended up loging in using text boxes for username and password.
  12. Currently the central display reports between 2.1 m/kWh and 2.2 m/kWh but when I first got the car it was reporting 2.5 m/kWh. Total average combined milage is 48 mpg over the 2300 miles it's been driven. On a 102 mile trip last weekend I got an average fuel economy of 62.5 mpg starting with a fully charged battery and getting 44.7 miles in EV mode.
  13. I just followed the on-screen instructions but whether that would make any difference is anyone's guess. I suppose it could be model dependent?
