  1. One thing, I used to do was, Placing silica gel packets inside the headlight housing which can help absorb excess moisture. Make sure the gel packets are secured in a way that they won't interfere with the light components.
  2. Hey Seekerr , Just bought my first car from Forces Cars Direct a few weeks ago and couldn’t ask for a better service. Cheers for the recommendation on the forum guys. I got exactly what I wanted in my new Lexus at a very good price, was nice that there is actually people out there in this country, that values people in the Armed Forces. They keep in regular contact with updates on the build and shipping progress as well I got the car to my front door to the hour requested as well, which with two kids and a busy life was good. I can only go with my experience so do with that what you will, but I would recommend.
  3. Does anybody know any dealers that give discounts on Lexus cars for for people in the military?
  4. In many cases, it's better to comply with local regulations even if your friend has unintentionally missed the deadline. Applying for the license now and demonstrating a willingness to comply with the law is often viewed more favorably by authorities than waiting for enforcement action. Honesty is crucial, and it's important to provide all necessary information when applying.
  5. Consider installing a GPS tracking device in your car. In case of theft, this can help authorities locate and recover your vehicle.
  6. If the gentle cleaning doesn't work, you can try using isopropyl alcohol. Dampen a clean, soft cloth with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (70% concentration or higher) and gently rub the affected area. Be cautious not to apply too much pressure to avoid further damage.
  7. If equipped, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve can sometimes malfunction and lead to rough idling and hesitation. Check to see if it's functioning correctly.
  8. You'll need a fuel siphon pump or a hand-operated transfer pump. These tools are designed for safely removing fuel from a vehicle. Once you've collected the fuel, store it in a safe place, preferably in an approved fuel container. It's essential to dispose of the fuel properly, as it can be hazardous. You can contact your local recycling center or hazardous waste disposal facility for guidance on how to dispose of it safely and responsibly.
  9. I also own a Zappi charger and have found it to be very reliable. One point to note is that, like you mentioned, the software updates can sometimes be a bit slow. While this might be a minor inconvenience, the fact that it integrates well with your solar panels and effectively utilizes surplus energy when your house battery is full is a huge plus.
