  1. Happy Birthday Jolliffee!

  2. My 07 RX-350 is just coming up for its 50,000 mile service, the dealer has informed me this is a big service! I'm not sure what that means other than the price - around £750. I was wondering what other RX-350 RX-400 owners experience was or what was meant by a big service - it is needed all day
  3. Forgot about wheels in motion ( WIM) http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/blackboots-location.php, they sorted my IS300 so I would try these guys fisrts.
  4. I have the same problem with my Merc, I have always put it down to the tyres being worn for the UK road camber. Not had the RX over the water yet so no idea what it will be like but there is a section of road near me with weird road camber and all the cars I have had pull to the right on it!
  5. This is the 2nd year I used my RX350 in the snow and it is impressive. I'm now thinking that a set of winter tyres may add further versatility to the car. I'm not sure chains would help?
  6. While I'm have a moan about the RX450, the sun visor leaves a horrible gap for the sun to get through, caught me yesterday!
  7. Yes there are two buried under the storage bin. I think this is a mistake since I currently have three devices I have on the lower socket. maybe an exstension lead will fix it bit why they don't have an outlet under the arm rest beats me!
  8. Just don't understand the reason for just bringing in the RX450 , hopefully that will change before I need to change my RX350 ?
  9. Me too.....to book test drive in RX450h and IS250c. Also voucher for wash, leather, vac and another for free visual safety check and report. Just a glass of wine if I turn up Friday night at Southampton
  10. 20K per set seems reasonable, I have a friend with the 4x4 Audi and she only gets 12k set just going to and from school
  11. No mention of the SNOW button. I find this helps on my RX350, not only in starting off but also in controlling the throttle!
  12. I had this and took it to my Lexus dealer, they changed a sesor at the rear, all sorted!
  13. I'll wait to see it in the metal, the pictures never seem to look the same as the real thing :shutit:
  14. Help Please; I'm not sure how to tell if these are working . Is there a definitive way of checking they work, I’ve tried looking at the garage door but they the lights didn’t move so wondered if they are speed sensitive? I’ve also tried with the switch in and out without any difference. When the lights power up they do a little dance left and right. Thanks for any help..
  15. I've never heard that one before. Surely full throttle would haemorrhage fuel into the engine? Also 2000rpm would mean you're changing gear within a second of the last. Still, if it's been proven I'm not going to disagree. It would also make a pretty uncomfortable ride for passengers surely??? This comes from the days of carburettors. I used to tell the boss this all the time that is was better to have twin Weber chokes working to improve the fuel consumption. I think it’s a load of bollocks but it is a load of fun! :winky: Oh! She did catch on when she repeated it one night and the guys laffed!
