From my talks with hi he is putting gt4 pistons in the car and hoping to bring the car to 320bhp. I asked about the 280bhp and if he could confirm it. The car was rolling roaded in Japan. I understand that 100 ron petrol was used. What would it be on 97ron?. Even 95ron. He is hoping to bring up the bar from .5 to .8. Is this potentially dangerous. Has anyone got pics of yellow altezzas?. I forget what they look like. I am getting pictures of the car this evening and i will post them over the weekend.

I just got off the phone with the person selling the altezza turbo. Its the yellow one that i posted a few weeks back. I was thinking of getting it. Its a 1998 with a greddy turbo. It means selling my white 2001 for a 1998 one!!!.. He is gettting it boosted up to 320 bhp. It will be available in about 3 weeks so i might put my car on the autotrader. Sean

I might try and have a look at the car. I might even sell my own and purchase this one... I mailed him there to see if it is still for sale.. can anyone let me know what the asking price was and the year.. A picture would be great..

Does anyone know if the car is in England or is it still in Japan. Also who knows about this King Buyer?. Have they a good reputation?. I wouldnt mind the car. Id change the boot spoiler to the one i have now though. Everything else is lovely. Maybe a set of 18" multi spoke alloys.. Sean

My altezza currently only stands me about 9k euro. I have made profit from car sales since i was 17. I just buy them good and then sell them off regretfully to buy better things. I have decided not to go for the silver one. It has no bodykit at all and the alloys wouldnt be the best. So if i sold my car and decided to buy one it might only cost me an extra 2k. Thats going up a year and the car if modified to the nines... Sean Am I will have a look for the cluster for you...

Cheers Am, Do you think that it will have a reduced tax if they dont notice the s/c?. I forgot to ask him if it has the intercooler. I think that the japanese wouldnt do things in half measures. I have to weigh up the costs now before i do anything. I was going to spend an extra 5k on the s/c for a 2001 but to get a 2002 with tv/navigation and s/c for about 2k extra it might just be ok.. I have to sell my beloved firstly.. I WILL be holding onto the cluster though..

No Keith, The yellow one was a 1998 one. I might have a look at that one and see what the story is. I just thought that paying 5k euro for a kit is a bit if a risk. I was thinking of selling my own and buying an altezza with the turbo/ supercharger for the same price. My brother is looking into the yellow altezza. Sean You want to buy my altezza?.

Am, The mileage is stored in the Cluster. I went from 55kms to 12.5kms on the odometer. I will be mentioning this to anyone im selling the car to also. Sean

Hi all, I just got off the phone with a friend of mine in Japan and he said he can get this car for me.. 2002 Silver RS200 Z edition 6 speed with SUN ROOF/TV/Navigation Blitz Super Charger 18 inches wheels Sport Suspension, Exhaust/Air Cleaner 40,000 kms Rated 4.5 I have yet to see what i will make with my own. Cheers Mat. I was hoping to use that to my advantage. A car in England that CANT get esva tested can get its price reduced so i can register it in Ireland. I heard that about the TOMS. I just want something different. I was thinking of using King buyer. I heard from someone here that they are not good. WHY?. Hi All, Instead of buying a turbo kit or supercharger kit for my Altezza i have decided to go and sell my own car and hopefully with the profit made purchase a highly modified altezza. Preferably a Turbo one. I was even thinking of searching for the TOMS altezza. So if any of ye could send me on some helpful contacts so i can search for what car im looking for. Even if people know of anyone who cant get his turbo'd altezza asva tested for registration please let me know and it will all help also. I am not leaving the ALTEZZA forum for a good while.... I have the altezza 2003 rs200 manual cluster on mine. It shows the kph in digital aswell as km/l and cruise distance. It also has the centre revs and the kmph is to the left.. I must become a gold member to upload a few pics of it... Am has a pic of my unit.. Sean Nice looking cluster Owen...

Cheers Am, I checked the shed and found a Toda flywheel and a Cuscu clutch. I think. But i am going to fit them as soon as i can to see what they are like. I sent you pics yesterday as i cant post images here. Why cant i?. GOLD???. Sean

Thanks Am, I dont think that the previous owner in Japan would upgrade the flywheel and NOT the clutch. I will try and find out more at home. I have all original boxes but my japanese wouldnt be the best. :duh: Anyways,,, I will mail you with what i find. In relation to the ecu remapping. Would any company that has the software to callibrate the ecu be able to sort out the minor problem?. Sean

Lads, Another question. Would a standard clutch work with a sports flywheel?. Or do the 2 units have to sync witheach other. Sorry about stupid questions. Sean

Hi all, I am thinking of supercharging my altezza and im being told that the altezza standard clutch wont be able to take the added torque. So i checked my car and it has a TODA POWER flywheel. Im just wondering, does this mean that i have a toda power clutch?. Will the flywheel only work with the clutch? How can i check in layman terms what make clutch i have?. Sean

Can it be done this way ? i thought you still had to reg it in the UK ? ← I dont know but i have heard of people from Ireland bringing cars into England and registering,insuring and taxing them on English addresses. After 6 months the car can be imported into Ireland and plates changed over to Irish ones for free. I would have saved myself €10k but i just didnt want the whole 6 month waiting thing. Id do it if i was importing a car like a sl350 merc. There has to be a loop hole. Are the tests only done on japanese inported cars?. We can import a car that could set off alarms here and nothing said. I'll check it out.. Sean (the tax dodger) :D

Hi all, if any of ye are interested in an altezza an option could be to import it to Ireland and get it registered here. Then re-register it in England. It MIGHT be a way of avoiding the test.. Nice looking motor though.. Sean

Tom Tom have a website and all updates can be performed online to the best of my knowledge. They do european routes also. Id go for the 700 one as the integrated bluetooth MIGHT come in handy..

Why not go for the clear lamps with protective film and then use 8500K H3 blue-white bulbs? ← After a long while i finally got my replacement fog light. One question. Where can i get the protective film?. Im hopefully going to fit it the weekend. Also where can i get the 8500K H3 blue-white bulbs?. Sean
