is300 is 211bhp and the s/c is200 is 201bhp.
And as Matt says the power from the s/c is there from the word go!!!!!
Would rather have a turbo though in any case!!!!! :D
-
Might I add, not that it would prob make much difference, but that pic of the spoiler I put up is not painted to match the car. It would have to be painted or be in carbon fibre!!! :D

Hey Bazz are they the superleggera 3???
The split rim ones with the dish???
I wanted those but they are hard to find and very expensive
-

I checked every fuse in the car inside and out and they all seemed fine but I will check the engine bay fuse box again tonite. I don't have any of the diagrams to tell me what fuse does what though :duh:
-
I have also just realised that the fog light on the passenger side isn't workind either!!!!
-
I'll take some more photos later tonite/tomorrow and post them for ya Ahmet.
Thanks for the compliments people!!!!
-
Well have you decided yet???? :D
-
They could be 45 but I won't know untill I take them off.
Either way they need a little skimming or else the arches need rolled.
The front driver side wheel has already caught the arch badly and damaged it with slight cracking of the paint too!!!!
-
Dunno but they came off an IS. I forgot to check but with the rubbing I would hazard a guess at 35 offset.
-
That is a lovely motor!!!
I was just thinking that I would like one of those when I eventually change from the IS.
hhmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................350Z.......turbo :D

You can get reliable info from "the usual method"!!!!!!!!

Didn't know there was an earth for the bulb??????
I thought that the 2 pins in the plug sorted everything. This could be the problem as the headlights were removed to paint them while the car was away.
Where would the earth be for that then???
-
Bump!
Still can't figure this out

22 and already driving my second IS200!!! had the first one at 19 but it was a heap of sh :shutit: te
I also wanna know who the 81-90 is?????
-
I haven't got a multi-meter but I did swap the bulb from the drivers side over which I know is working and there doesn't seem to be any power going to the connector. :duh:
This is kinda baffling me a bit as all the other light functions work fine.
-
Hi folks,
Since I got the car back I noticed that the sidelights and the full beam on my passenger side head light aren't working. my sidelights have been changed to angel eyes but I realised that the bulb was broke so that problem is sorted!
My full beam still doesn't work though. I have checked the bulb and swapped it with the drivers side with no difference. I have also pulled out every fuse on the car that I can find and they are all ok. The wiring seems to be fine but I still can't get the bulb to light
Has anybody had this problem before or know what the cause may be ?????
-
I'll buy your B&M shifter off ya if you wanna sell it!!! :D
How much do you want for it??
-
Yeah I can't ever log into the Gold forum either. and when a link is put up to go into gold the user log in appears but still never works??????
-
Just had a conversation about this earlier tonite :P
I waqs advised to use the Castrol RS stuff as it is supposed to be the best available. If it's good enough for a 500-600bhp evo then it's good enough for me!! :D

If I can remember correctly from the last time I looked, my boost gauge was plumbed straight into the throttle body somehow. I could be wrong though as it was only a quick glimpse I got.
Also about the boost you get with the s/c. I usually only got just below .3bar. I can only remember getting .3bar on one occasion. but hey......I've got .5 bar now so who cares :P :P
-
I thought 5bar seemed a bit exessive That would be good to see though
-
Not much you can do till they get the problem sorted but if you have a debit card or if there are any funds already in your account you can pay with them as it says in the statement.
Boost Controller

Good to see you have got some more power with the boost controller adie!!!
I had a little fiddle with mine the other day with Simon who built the turbo conversion. It is the Blitz SBC spec-R controller
We set up the gains so there is far less lag and I get full boost sooner in the rev range. It feels very responsive now. We also set up the warning so when the car overboosts the controller flashes red and beeps etc. Also when the warning sounds it automatically reduces the boost so it can't go above the required boost.
BTW-don't sell the IS!!! :P
