i will find out for you how hard it is. it can be done though and the fascia plate takes both double and single din.

Are you pushing the accelerator down when starting? If you are dont. just turn the key and it should fire up 1st turn every time. If you are concerned, buy a new battery as in the winter as you know your lights, heated seats, heater, rear demister will all be on more. Andrew.

try wd40 on the pullys and belts that should work. or your fanbelt might be slack. did the gunk work ok though? most Lexus engines i have looked at are pretty clean anyway. some car engines just dont seem to get dirty.(audi 80 tdi) -

Why did Lexus make a sport model with no improvement on the engine? I like my Is 200 sport but it is so slow and thirsty. The specification is great though but my next car will be a diesel A4 again. Lexus should have brought out some special editions here in the uk of the Is 200

I always remove the faceplate when i leave the car, its garaged at night and i dont use it for work. the quality is good and i am going to add rear headrest screens, i have a denon amp and mb quartz components still to fit. I needed another headunit anyway and at £400 fitted it was better than fitting an alpine/kenwood cd tuner for the same money. look here for details Andrew

yeah you can see the screen ok as it moves through four angles. The tuner is really good also.

I paid just under £400 for it and it was fitted free, i had the adaptor plate in the car when i bought it and you can fit single or double din headunits in it. My JVC unit uses its own in built amp as my car had a pioneer cd tuner fitted when i bought it and the wiring has been changed.

here is my jvc dvd headunit fitted now. Its has has loads of features and plays dvd,s. I would recommend one if your thinking of changing over to an aftermarket one. It has extra pre-outs for amps and more screens(rear headrest next).
