    Hello ,just to say that sunday,i had a near one as both hub bolts sheared drivers side,but was only creeping at the time,but 10 mins earlier i was on the a38 to derby,Id hate to think what would have occured if it went then,dont think id be typing this.Ive got a hub assembly coming but need the 2 bolts which hold it to the ball joint,anybody have 2 or know what i have to get.

    I put some BG44K cleaner in the tank too,perhaps twice a year,now i use either v power or 97 ron depending where i fill up.

    Lexus is200 has 2 pistons on the fronts and 1 on the rear.

    Youll get that mpg from a manual as i do,but doubtfull from an auto box,ive got the same spoiler.

    My daughter has a master key for her sportcross,and yes it only has 2 buttons ,so if you can manage with the glove box as it is,dont worry about it .

    Try machine polisher with g3 cutting compound then polish car and see first.

    Looks well darren,those wheels look like the black sparkle powdercoat from blackpool refurbishers.Hard to keep clean though black cars ,mines the same,yours looks really good ,enjoy.

    Jit,Andy and J ,theyre not even run in yet,ive done 142,000 but had new clutch only.

    I would imagine its a lot of work for probably 15bhp at best as ive heard before,,have you seen the supercharger for sale on ebay,thats a better bet.

    Ed in england ive been told not to remove the 3rd cat for mot purposes,but the manifold cats are to help get the car to temperature.

    Im going to make myself a hinged clamp out of sheet metal and fit it around the manifold joint and bolt it to the joint thus strengthening it.

    Hello, does anyone have any help as the joint of the maniverter has worn one side. I wondered if its possible to either weld or some type of repair, or of a welder around derbyshire who may strengthen the joint as a new part is very expensive .

    Try it yourself if confident .Get pistons out and clean with wet n dry or wire wool .Put either lithium or red rubber grease on them and refit .If the discs arent damaged do this first before you buy new ones Sent from my GT-I8190N using Lexus OC mobile app

    If its got service history then 120,000 miles is fine,mines done 140,000 and just passed another m.o.t.My car is a manual and get more mpg than an auto but both are fine.If you can ,get an is300 as its a better car with more power and top spec.

    Try the old trick of giving the starter motor a hit with a hammer,it worked for me once.

    Kyle ,can you take the caliper off ,if so do it and clamp the fluid pipe .Then get caliper off and to remove the pistons,which may have a seized piston,put a tyre inflator on the fluid connection to pop the pistons out.They may be corroded so clean them up with wet n dry ,put lithium grease on them and reassemble,this is what i did.Then you may have to bleed the brakes ,worked for me mate.
