  1. They were my choices when I got my IS. I went for Black. My dad has an Allution (sp) gray RX though and I like that!
  2. Well your situation kind of puts everybodys elses little problems into perspective. Chin up and I bet it all ends up fine - the lex will look even better once repaired too as treating yourself to a few bits will make you feel better!
  3. So do you hve a long list of plans for the GT4 then? I've always liked the look of them and they are quick. Nice choice.
  4. And I have my plate as my Avatar....... Please don't clone it!
  5. It's homeboy gangsta speak for cool. It's probably been adopted by the burberry wearing CHAV scum now.
  6. I loved the comments in the first link. They were all so.... well..... american! Makes great reading putting on the fake texas accent! 'My Is350 is fully loaded y'all. It's sick.....'
  7. None of them will be 'driven' anyway! Most will end up in collections and never be used. Shame, all that potential too......
  8. mini tornados? whirlpool effects? I'll believe it when i see it! The thing is people have left feedback saying they noticed the difference!
  9. Thanks very much! No excuses now. I must get it on!
  10. I like the Infiniti G35. Looks pretty tasty.
  11. OK, I've finally decided to get my kit painted. I have the TTE front bumper and rear valance and the TRD sideskirts. I bought the sideskirts new (Thanks Mr Shipley!) and the front bumper and rear bumper second hand (thanks ebay!) My question is, do I require any additional parts to make this fit and is there a fitting guide? I think it looks an easy swap over but my mate who is painting and fitting it was wondering.
  12. It's amaxing how many times Lexus is mentioned in songs and stuff! Normally the classier ones cause the super bling rap guys loves their Maybachs and Phantoms!
  13. I have been fortunate enough to experience both at my young age as my Dad is into the luxury market. We both agreed that i-drive is a load of rubbish however it is extremely comfotable and I think it's great looking! Audi A8 is awesome, I drove the last of the previous model S8 with all extras and it was something else! The S class is nice too. The RX is a great car. Dad opted to sell his XJ8 for an RX300 SE-L and he loves it! I say if you can operate and like i-drive then go for whatever you fancy! If you don't like i-drive don't buy it as you'll get frustrated and sell it! (hence the good deals!)
  14. No convictions or accidents. 6 years protected no claims (An administrative gift from the insurance company when I was 17!) The milage is restricted as I work away. 6000 I think..... but the excess is std. It would be well higher if I had business use on the policy! I also got a quote for an M5 with averything set the same. £800ish!
  15. £309 fully comp. 22 year old male. The joys of living in Northern(ish) Scotland!
  16. You can put me down for a SON-DASPOL-KIT too! I've been looking but I'm yet to take the plunge. The main reason for it being a 110V kit is probably because it's industrial and running tools off of 110V is deemed safer. Also it means you can run it on Ex rated sockets etc. Handy for an industrail environment.
  17. I see a yellow one in Aberdeen a lot. It's bright..... Not exactly my taste but at least the owner has something individual. Unkile me in my common, sorry popular Astral Black!
  18. The closest one you trust is 700+ miles round trip!
  19. Thanks very much. *edited my terrible spelling!
  20. I kind of feels like it is oversteering but there is no 'snap' bringing it back. Oversteer feeling then this floaty thing. It was the 5 year service, I don't think it was done. I'll check. If it wasn't I'll get it done. Anywhere you could recomend in the Aberdeen/shire area? And if I do I'll get a print out! :winky:
  21. Thanks guys. I can have a play with the pressures. I'm no mechanic but can I check the caster arms myself?
  22. The gold one above is a bit bling bling isn't it? Chrome might be more to my taste though.....
  23. Nice! I wish I could drive like that! :D
  24. Hi folks, I didn't put this in handling category as I'm not yet sure whats wrong. When I make right turns at speed and sometimes left ones too te rear of the car seems to feel floaty. Not exactly confidence inspiring! I don't remember it doing it before but have noticed over the last week, since I got it back from a service. I was told I'd require attention to the brakes soon by the dealer. I'm back on the standard 17s with tyre pressure 32 all round. Can anyone help? It's a standard 2000 SE with 44k on it.
