  1. My 2017 NX has auto locking and I find it most useful. With regard to removing auto locking functions, Nissan have done the same thing with the current Qashqai. My wife's Duke had auto locking, I replaced it with a new Qashqai and that doesn't.
  2. Apologies I did not notice the date.
  3. The luxury comes with LED dipped beam and halogen main.
  4. I'm not an IS to NX convert, I'm actually an RC to NX convert. Although the RC is a lovely car, it soon became obvious that it was not the car for me. After much agonising I rang the dealer (Lexus Cardiff) and explained my predicament. They were absolutely brilliant, they not only took my RC back, but they also sold me an NX and the cost to change was negligible. The NX for me, is brilliant. Suits my needs very well, very comfortable and extremely quiet. So glad I made the change.
  5. I have found that if you tap the throttle pedal momentarily before you pull away, this will release the brakes and then allow you to pull away with the usual Lexus smoothness.
  6. Why would anyone ruin a perfectly good looking car by fitting that body kit ? It just beggers belief.
  7. You are quite correct. Full LED lamps are on the F sport and the range topping premier models. I didn't want the F sport as I don't like the seats, and the premier, although very nice, for me it has too many bits that are not really necessary. I went for what I consider to be the best compromise, the luxury model.
  8. Well you learn something new every day, thanks for that.
  9. Well you learn something new every day, thanks buddy.
  10. Dislikes... Even thou most of the rear lamp is LED Lexus still use conventional bulbs for the indicators and reverse lamp. Lovely LED dipped headlamp, crappy halogen main beam. DAB radio very difficult to initially tune in. Likes... Radar cruise control. Wonderful seats The fact it actually comes with a spare wheel, rather than the more common inflation kit.
  11. Also, when the hold facility is being used the brake lights remain on.
  12. I have a white RC 300h Fsport that I have had now for 5-6 weeks. Coming from an Insignia VXR it did take a little bit of getting used to, but now I am completely sold on the hybrid experience. I love the relaxed, unhurried driving experience you feel with the ecvt gearbox, and obviously the fuel consumption and reduced road tax compared to the VXR. All in all, I am so glad I made the jump from Vauxhall to Lexus.
  13. I saw the above plate on a black RCF this morning on the M4
  14. Saw my first RCF this morning, black reg no F1RCF going west on the M4 around 6am.
  15. Thanks Rebecca, I love my new car, but it's always nice when someone takes the time to appreciate it too. Obviously I have only just become a Lexus owner, and so far I'm very impressed with both the car and the service I received from Lexus Cardiff. Can I ask you how you find the whole Lexus owning experience? Have you had any problems with yours? And I guess the obvious, would you buy another ? Adrian
