Sun Roof Seal

Hi all

Last few weeks ive been getting a bit of a whine getting into car I thought it was a wheel bearing but ive discovered its wind noise from the sun roof.

My question is is the glass roof easy to get out and is there a aftermarket seal available as i suspect oem one will be arm and leg

Is it when the shade is closed or open?

Ive really struggled with the opening and closing sequence with mine.

Pressing close to long will open it up vertically, and if you dont get it just right when you close it from fully open it sits slightly lower than the profile of the roof.

have you initilised it correctly

press up and hold till it goes through its sequence

tilt

drop

open

close

then let go of button

mine lets air in with shade open its not too bad with shade closed

i do believe the glass should be just a bit lower than the roof
