Auto Box Help Please

Hi just wondering if anyone can help.

I have an altezza with the auto box. It won't kick down and the steering wheel gear selector doesn't work.

I have been trying to sort the stereo and found two random wires that are not connected to anything. One is a light purple with a white stripe that seems to disappear towards the engine bay. The other is pink with a label attached, car speed signal input.

I'm wondering where these should be going. The car will kick down if you are going less than 60mph but will only rev to 5500 then change from third then quickly 4th then into 5th.

Any ideas. Fluids in the box is a very clean red colour.
