2002 LS430 fuel inlet pipe needed urgently

Hi all

My petrol tank was leaking, garage has dropped it out and taken to a local repair shop who say that they will be able to fix it.

Problem is that the fuel inlet pipe was badly corroded and also needs to be replaced.

Lexus parts are quoting end of month on availability and I need to have car back on road by weekend.

Any suggestions would be most welcome, thanks baz

It's worth having your rear AC pipes checked (if you have them )while the tank is out, they nearly always corrode and it's a fuel tank out job if they do.  Even if you find the pipe you need at a breakers it'll be cutting it fine with postage and all.  Is there nowhere near you that can make up the part for you, maybe an engineering firm?
