Strange metallic noise when start on cold

Recommended Posts

Hi, was wondering can you help.

recently I had nct for my car, all went ok but when I start my car on cold I can hear (bearly) low metallic noise under oil cap on the top of engine. I driving is220d 2006 year. Firstly I thought that something got lose in the cabin because you can hear that better inside cabin that out. Today I opened a bonnet and I could hear this metallic noise. It's like someone hitting with small hammer metal part. After minute or two the noise is gone!? I think so. Inside the cabin you feel like some plastic part got lose and is vibrating for while on the start. Does anyone can guide me what shall I do? What this can be?
