When i start my car in the mornings theres a sqeaky sound. Yesterday morning i used some WD-40 which i sprayed onto the belt pulleys, noise went away. This morning it was the same again..

What does this mean?

Another sqeaky noise comes from the gearbox. If i press the clutch pedal down about 5mm it stops, its very faint sound but its there.

Any ideas?

I seem to be confusing some of the members here with my strange problems

Best not to get too personal with my problems then :P

Thanks,

Am.

Right buddy, Try straying the WD-40 just on to the belt and see if the noise stops. If so that belt probably needs replacing....Under a tenner.

With the clutch...... sounds like its the realease bearing...the cheapest way would be to get it lubed up again, but it will keep coming back, seems like a common thing that.... i have had 2 that have done it!
