Hi,

I have recently bought a is200 sport sunroof model, there’s a major water leak, I cleared out the drains for the sunroof which were blocked and dried up the carpets the best I could but still to no avail, carpets front and back are drenched checked door and any other obvious areas that could leak without stripping off panels like windscreen etc, is there anyone that has came across something like this before or could point me in the right direction?

Does it only happen when it rains?

I don't know if this applies to Lexus but this problem occurs in Ford's, Vauxhalls and others, including my ex Vauxhall.  Rain water that runs down the windscreen needs a place to go, usually there's a channel with a drain that gets blocked with gundge over the years so the water gets in the car via the heater fan assembly.  My rear carpet was flooded so I assumed the problem was at the rear but it all came via the front.  My drain hole was completely blocked.  Worth checking maybe?
