Help..electrical Problem

Recommended Posts

Whilst driving home last night the warning lights on my IS200 went beserk (random flashing)! After 30 sec's or so all internal electrics switched off. Luckily the headlights stayed on as it was dark and the car still starts and drives.

In summary I have NO electrics (Alarm,Stereo, Indicators, Interior lights, Dash lights, Mileometer)

It sounds like a major fuse / connection issue.

Any tips on what I should check much appreciated :crybaby:

Thanks

Latest on this saga is that the fault has been pinpointed to the 120A Fuse in the main fusebox under the bonnet. It is labelled as the alternator fuse. Can anyone advise how I get it out so it can be replaced?

I've tried levering it / pulling it with pliers but it is not budging.. is it held in place another way?

Help appreciated..!

Thanks
