Seats for a 97-00 facelift LS

Recommended Posts

Hello, I believe this is my first post on this site after being a member for a while.

I’ve bought another Lexus a year ago a 99 LS and I’ve gotten to the stage where I’m happy with it mechanically so I’m looking into aesthetics now.

The main thing that’s bugging me is the condition of the leather on the drivers seat (cream/beige interior). I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to get new covers or a good second hand seat etc. Ideally in the UK. TIA

I think you will struggle to get a good used seat or the leather covers.
I think you can still get new leather covers………..£1100 + from Amayama.
I’ve seen some good seat repairs done on Car SOS and Wheeler Dealers so a repair/refurbishment is probably your best option.

Lexus leather just doesn't cope with wear .

it is a great indicator of previous use though!

There is a leather repair company I have used called colourway who have repaired and matched seats for me in the past.

keeps car original equipped  which I like.

check out classic car leather renovations.

there are some very capable restorers out there making invisible repairs and charging hundreds not thousands.
