Laggy throttle response?

Has anyone encountered this issue? I saw a similar post on another forum but my LC has an occasional hesitation (as if its not sure which gear it wants to use, almost like the TPS isn't really doing its thing. You end up using more throttle than necessary and so when it decides to engage the gear you shoot off:

I am new to the group and looking forward to some of your feedback. I have a 2018 LC500 that i have had for a year now with roughly 7000 miles on it. Since i purchased the car i have noticed more and more the lag i have from a slow role to acceleration. Its hard to explain but when i do a rolling stop then hit the accelerator the car hesitates. What drive mode are you in at the time?

Normal, most of the time - I dont think sport is impacted in the same way.

I sometimes notice it's slower to engage a gear in comfort, but no throttle response issue.

Suspect it's going to need live diagnostics to work out what's really going on with yours and the one you quoted.  (Could be a strange combination of gear, gradient and steering angle etc... or a duff sensor!)
