Illuminated door sills 1.gen

Hey guys. Does anyone here have the illuminated door sills on the NX300h? 

I'd like to upgrade mine and wonder if they only light up when u open the door, or do they also light up when doors a closed and headlights are on? So that you see them while driving? 

Hope somebody can help.

Hi, I have the illuminated sills in my NX 2019 and they are on whenever the ignition is on or the doors are unlocked and you're "getting in or out". So yes they are on when you're driving along but while not impossible to see them, they're there if you look for them.

The sills are still visible even with the doors closed.

So I'm going to order them. With the little problem, you don't get them in Germany anymore... Thanks to fed ex international shipping, I'm gonna get them as well :)

When you sit inside the NX and look down, you're able to see Lexus written on the Sill. They are not covered by the door. 

It is the first model I know, where it is like this.
