But I must say the RPM needle bounces, even when driving as a grandpa (which I mostly do), but just not that bad. 😀
However, I love the V8 sound at 6k RPM.

I can ever barely hear the whisper of my V8 purr whatever the speed and revs ....... maybe it's my hearing is a bit defunct 🤣
