How to reset hydraulic tensioner on timing belt

How am I able to reset the hydraulic tensioner on my timing belt. I’ve got a is200 lexus 1FGE engine. I let the pin out of the hydraulic tensioner out when I had placed it wrong through the fitting and now I’m unable to put the pin back in and try and realign it. The belt is too tense and tight for me to try and put the tensioner on correctly or the belt on correctly neither would align. And now I’m unsure if I have to buy another tensioner for $250 on its own. Please if you find any videos or know what to do or any opinions anything will help
