Is200/ stalling problem while idle

Recommended Posts

So i bought a supercharged is200 about a month ago, its my first car so im new to this. It has now stalled two times while idle on cold start before and after work(a week apart), And both times, it happened when warming up the car then scraping ice off of it, and then closing the drivers door. Thats when the rpm`s just drops slowly and then the engine cuts out. It doesnt stall when waiting on a red light or whilst driving. The engine runs smooth too. The Oil is good and Coolant is filled up. I thought it could be a sensor but im still new to cars so i really have no idea. I dont have a video as it doesn`t happen all the time and its unexpected, and its not freezing temperatures that often anymore, if that is the problem.

Any tips or knowledge appreciated:)

Hi, Not sure if you got it sorted or not but check to see if the car has had the "Throttle Mod" done to it. haven't done it my self but its known to struggle to idle until it comes up to temp.
