Binding Brakes / Worn Ball Joints

Hello folks.

I have always thought that my car had an intermediate sticking come from somewhere, I was due my 50,000 mile service so I left it in the hands of Lexus to hopefully point out if there was a problem.

So last week I had my car returned from it’s 50,000 mile service, and they had pointed out that that both lower ball joints were worn, and should be replaced, but I wasn’t keen on paying the £££££’s that I was quoted, so I collected the car with the intention of getting the ball joints replaced elsewhere.

Last night I noticed a right stink of brakes !! I just thought it was the 42 tonner in front of me, but I soon realised that it was coming from me. The N/S/F disc was cooking and stinking, so I would imagine that I am also looking at a sticky caliper as well as worn ball joints, or could just worn ball joints cause this ?

Where can I find replacement parts, and how easy are these parts to replace by myself ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Copper.
