Liquid Crystal Display

I have a 1992 LS400 and the LCD for the clock and heater information has failed. Lexus tell me I have to replace the whole unit at quite a cost. It must be possible to either repair or replace just the LCD, anyone know how. Replies will be gratefully recieved.

I think you'll find that it fits RHD as well mate!!

I have a MK2 and have just changed my LCD it works perfectly but is extremely complicated, please read my post on the owners site.

I have replaced several LCD's now both MK1 & 2 I have a MK2 and have just changed my LCD it works perfectly but is extremely complicated, please read my post on the owners site.
