Termometer Problem

Recommended Posts

Hello, i noticed a problem. Sometimes my car termometer shows nonsense, like today, i started the engine and it showed -23 degrees, but for real it was +6 degrees. So i couldn't use colder temp in the car, because it was blowing warm, and when i turned to +18, it blowed colder, but not cold! And it is not the first time! What the hell is wrong? i tried to reset the ecu, but it didn't help. However after few hours it was back to normal. Any ideas?

not surpised something is wrong,, the rest of us have THermometers fitted, however you seem to have a TErmometer do it show termites on the street lol.

Or it could be that the connectors on the back of the A/C panel have worked loose somehow.. on my many times fiddling with the a/c panel, this one time (at band camp) i hadnt plugged the connectors back in properly which resulted in strange things happening with the blower.

In anycase the temp display/sensor has nothing to do with what your blower will do, if you have things set on auto it will get the temp via a sensor mounted on the panel blow the steering and opposite (left of) the bonnet release handle.. its that little grill thing..
