Check Engine Light Coming On

Hey guys

I have an Altezza RS200 with the 3sge engine and 6 spd tranny.....my check engine light comes on periodically, when it is on the car bogs down badly, sluggish performance, rapid fuel comsumption, rought jerky gear changes and whats not!

I had a diagnosis done and it gave me an O2 sensor reading. My question is...do you guys think it may just be a wire breakage on the sensor? If the sensor was totally bad it would not work at all I thought.

I await your feedback....

Cheers

i had the same problem and i found the solution...

it was so simple.

i installed a non original ignition coil and that was where the problem began

it took me 3 months to think of it

the diagnostic could not find any problem

so for the 3sge owners

call toyota  say 90919-02236

and then install it

and my lovely altezza is happy again
