well i drove to sheffield today to see 2 ls400`s

the first was at an independent dealer and was cheap at 9995 the only visual problem i could find was underneath the boot carpet in the corners it was a bit damp and foisty, apart from that all appeared ok

so i drove to the main dealer expecting a much better car for almot 16000 and the same year model, underneath the boot liner it was corroded to the point of flaking paint and bubbling, the boot catch was corroded and in the left corner it was wet and again rusty :o

now ive never heard of this problem before but thats 2 cars with the same dampness anyone any ideas and is it a common fault.
