Any Car Insurance Experts Out There

Any advice would be appreciated......

I have 10 years no claims and i have been protecting my fully comp policy for the last 3 years. When i had my car nicked in March i had to make a claim, and with my policy i am allowed 1 claim in 1 year, and up to 2 claims in a 3 year period. My question is:- because i have made a claim this year, if i have to make another this year i will lose my no claims any way, so could i get away with not protecting them this year?? I am very confused

I have the same - my understanding is that it means a maximum two claims in any three year period. Phone your insurer if it's not clear.

You don't lose all your no claims, just a percentage of it if you break the number if claims limit. As above speak to your insurance company or look at the policy.
