Mesh Grille

The TRD/JDM mesh grille looks really nice (much better than the stock grille methinks)- I have seen a number of places offering the mesh so that you can make it yourself- is this possible/easy?

I don't fancy paying Lexus 200 quid or whatever it is to get their version, as it is pretty much the same thing.

Also I saw this for sale on eBay, is this a similar thing? Clicky here

That one works out at about 130 dollars including postage which isnt terrible (70/80 quid or something?)

Mesh up your own would be better - better fit too as it's oem. Maxpower did a guide a good number of years back ;)

basically cut out (or remove) existing mesh and buy some mesh from B&Q or similar, cut to fit and bond to inside of grill. Refit.

Price not bad, but be aware of eBay stuff. Fitment may not be good.

I bought a carbon fibre one off eBay similar to this, took me hours to fit. Nothing lined up, and I had to cut off most of the mounting bits and make my own. This may just be the CF one since it can be tricky stuff to mould, but beware. The results are well worth it though:
