An Sc300 Manual Tranny With A Blown Engine?

I would like to find a SC300, manual transmission with a blown engine. I would like to rebuild it but put in a SC400 engine. Hummmm! A SC400 with a manual transmission.

What do you all think???

I am sure the 2JZ GE tranny does not fit to the 1UZ FE the aussie forum has details on what manual boxes do marry up the V8 though :)

THanks for the info. At this point it is just an idea. I love my SC400, but having one with a manual transmission would be fun. My mechanic thinks that if the SC300 idea won't work, we might look into a SC400 transmission switch. That would entail a lot more than a SC300 with a new engine or at least that is how he looks at it. He says that either a Lexus or Toyota transmission with the right adapters could work. He has done similar work on a restored 1948 Chevy. Since he has access to a machine shop, he may be right.

But, we are just 'blue skying' the idea right now.
