Hello all My Is200 X reg 2000 is up to the 100k in milage Now

i have had the cam belt changed at 97k

but i now want to have the Gear box oil changed and the Diff oil

Question

How easy is it to change the oil in the gear box and the diff

and where do i drain and fill any pics please would help

and what oil do you recomend for them EP?

I've not done the gearbox but the differential is easy enough. No need for ramps, I just used standard axle-stands.

The manual gives details of what oil to use. The differential holds just over 1 litre.

The reason I've not done the gearbox is because it's not part of the standard maintenance schedule so there shouldn't be any need. The differential oil is specified for replacement every 20,000 miles (though that seems rather excessive to me).
