Hmm, Pinking? Right, from experience in the trade, its most likely the ignition coils. the tend to break down and cause poor accel. it happens in hot weather as the componets expands and loose contact.

mate, i know its not much help but G/Box oil will be DE3 or T4 And the Diff is 80-90. Sorry thats all i know.

It wont fail Front fogs are classed as an accessory and DO NOT have to work for M.O.T purposes. Mine dont, and i got an M.O.T

i personally think it can be repaired. is far enough from the shoulder, so a repair should be easy.
