Alarm In Hot Weather Going Off !

Recommended Posts

Did a search and found you can knock off the motion sensors to stop alarm going off due to heat... {also remove coins etc from centre console as this can also set it off !}....So how do you switch them off ?....its embarrasing

If it like my 95, with a separate alarm fob to the key, then there is a small switch on the side of the alarm fob. That switch controls whether to arm the motion sensors - think the alarm bleeps differently as well when it is being set (but I can't remember how!)

I have same problem with motion sensors on My LS400 95, when its cold! Funny that.

Anyway, if you have the seperate fob for locking/unlocking, with the slider button on one side, you will find one position flashes the indicators and beeps 3 times. This equalls Motion sensors on. And the other position flashes the indicators and beeps 2 times. This equals Motion sensors off.

Hope it helps. If anyone has any idea what may be triggering the motion sensors, I'd love to hear about it
