Possible New Lexus

Hi All,

I am in the middle of deciding to upgrade my current IS200 SE Sat-Nav Auto,

which is a 1999 'V' Reg with 78500 on the clock.

Its just had today a 80k service from Reading.

I asked for an valuation on the car againsdts a 1-2 year old IS200.

The value was not as much as I had hoped for, but I suppose it's

nearly 6 years old.

Has anyone had experience of dealing with Reading sales at all, what should I look out for from them ? Are they 'deal friendly' at all.

What do you guys reckon I should push for in the way of extras like mats, service package etc?

You can check the value of trade in on www.networkq.co.uk under "buyers check list" and then "value my car"..... it gives access to the "Glass's guide" which matched trade in value on my last couple of cars.

There are some good deals on nearly new IS200's around Herts and Bucks at the moment, keep seeing new/nearly new ones with 250 miles on the clock with at least £2K off list.

Some have sat nav, some have body kits, might be worth a look

Hi MartinC, where is your nearest dealer located, I live in High Wycombe, so am a bit restricted, esp. as my workload dictates when & where I can get to view cars,

one of the things with running your own company I suppose.

Well, I finally made my mind up.

Have just upgraded to a April 2005 IS200 Auto in Plat Ice with

Sports styling kit & sports grille, full leather & DVD Sat Nav.

Pick it up tomorrow (Sat) morning - cant wait !!

Be interesting to see how the dealer is when I pick it up tomorrow, see

what goodies they will throw in.
