New Member Introduction & Question!

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I've recently bought a 95 MkIII Lexus Ls400, and wow what a car! I always liked them and now I own one I can honestly say it has not disappointed me! I look forward to getting to know some of you fellow Lexus owners! :D

Sadly though, the car came with every extra except remote locking. Therefore I decided to fit an alarm with remote central locking. All was going smootly until I tried to find the heart of locking to connect to. I know it's somewhere beneath the steering, just above the pedals as I can hear it clicking but can't seem to find the source! Does anyone here know the exact location for this?!

I hope someone can help! I have looked at other posts but can't find anything similar. Finally, I'm seriously considering becoming a Gold member. What's your thoughts on this?

Cheers!

Steve

Hi Steve and welcome to LOC. I used to own an LS400 really nice car.

I am afraid I can't help you with the central locking question. If you don't get any joy on here from one of the other LS owners then try your local alarm fitter I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

Going GOLD is an advantage. Most Lexus dealerships around the UK recognise the card and offer discount around 10%-15% Also on parts. I got my membership fee back on buying a set of floor mats. So it is worth it. Also we have group buys on here for various parts-spark plugs etc. So it can be beneficial to your wallet.

Regards Terry
