Dash Display

How you doin guys.

First time on the site so be gentle lol.

Well anyway i have the GS 300 Sport 94 M reg and I must say that the dash still impresses the hell out of me

but I think its got to the stage where its starting to show age.

The needles glow red in the middle of them however the rev counter one is flickering now and its a bit annoying so i either want to replace it or change the LEDs if I can.

If its a new needle that is needed would someone be kind enough to post the part number.

Also if some one can explain on how to take the dash apart?

Any info appreciated

Cheers

Sukh

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)

I dont think Lexus sale just the needles  They make you buy the whole clocks and there not cheap :excl:

It might be worth buying a secondhand set of clocks and just change the needles over with yours.Try giving Swift Breakers a call

As to removing the clocks,if its like my Aristo then the bottom part where the illumination dimmer switch is just unclips. Then from memory i think its just 4 screws....two at the top(short reach philips screwdriver) and one in each corner on the bottom of the clocks.Gentle when removing the dash clocks as its plugged in at the back..

The Quick cheap option as to the needle problem is take your clocks out and paint the needles white.

Hope thats of some help.
