Hi, Has any one got or know were i can purhase or borrow, a socket to fit the antenna nut on my gs300 se 1999, only im going to change the mast and fit a new one,from Lexus.

Or can i borrow one from a lexus dealer.

Dont fancy the idea of useing a screwdriver incase i scratch the paintwork.

Would appreiceate any help.

I used an ordinary plumbers pipe wrench to get mine off - low tech but it works. Just grip the nut and turn anti clockwise - just be careful of the paint.

No need for any special tools.

I removed mine carefully with a wide blade screwdriver with a cloth on the wing to protect from any mishaps.

Go on you can do it.
